Bent chassis
Following a shunt to my n/s/front wheel of my MK Indy it has put a slight bend in the upright square section of the chassis where the round bar is
attached that comes up from the lower part of the chassis and the rear of the upper wishbone mounting is. Is the only option to weld in a new upright
section?

I'd have thought a check on the chassis wishbone pick-ups to make sure there's no distortion would help. Worst case a rebuild with a new
chassis, otherwise cut out and replace the bent section as you suggest.
