What size bolt for escort caliper mount
Got my escort uprights fitted now and instead of the M16 type caliper I'm fitting my wilwoods back on with the adaptor plates.
They came without the bolts to fix to the upright.
Ive tried a M10 x 1.5 thread bolt which is pretty close but a bit slack so assuming I need an imperial size.
What do I need to ask for at the bolt suppliers, ?
I know your all going to tell me to take an upright to the shop and try one but all my ball joints are bolted up now and don't want to take it
all to bits again.
Many thanks.

Poss 7/16" UNC? but what was holding on the M16s?
Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

7/16 unf with a 12mm shouldered section if they are capri/escort rs uprights (will have bolted on steering arms)
M12x1.5 if they are non rs mk2 escort (will have cast in steering arms)
Non rs mk1 iirc is 7/16 unf but with no shouldered section as the hole in the caliper is 7/16 instead(p16 not m16)

Many thanks.
Never had the M16 calipers for the bolts, the escort RS uprights are replacing the alloy ones fitted before I owned it.
