Wheel markings?
Im hoping to invest in a new set of wheels. To work out what size I need, I need to understand more what the markings are that are stamped on the
inside of the wheels. For example what are these numbers supposed to represent 7J 17H2 A18 A57. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Nick.

7J - - - 7 would be the width of the rim from tyre bead seat to bead seat in inches. J would be the profile of the bead seat lip.
17H2 - - - 17 would possibly be the diameter of the rim. H2 might be the offset of the mounting face or just a manufaturers number.
As for A18 A57. Quite frankly no idea.
Hope this helped.
Enjoy. 4 Days to go.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

The important one is the ET number - this is the offset (the distance from the centreline of the wheel to the hub face)
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
