What is a lowlift clutch
As title, I thought it was a fwd, so the bellhousing could be kept shallow....
I have 2 friction plates for my 24v Cosworth V6, one marked lowlift, one not marked as such, the lowlift has thinner linings and seems a lot
softer......
Now confused...
Cheers.
Pete.

Are you sure the lowlift friction disc is from a cossy and not the Duratec V6. Lowlift friction discs usually go with slim clutch covers and they
usually have different mounting PCD to the ones that are not lowlift so they couldn't be muddled up on the prod line.
Never under estimate the ingenuity of an idiot!

Its 240mm 23 spline, stamped lowlift, it does have more damping springs on the flywheel side than the normal 2.8/3.0 V6 plate, but otherwise the same
