You really dont want power steering on a Locost. It would be like driving an arcade car racing game........
As you have approximately one third of the donor vehicles weight, with PAS the steering would be that light that it would be quite difficult to drive! And, dont forget, the hydraulic pump is sapping power.

Dont just build it.....make it!

you cant use a power rack without all the bits so get a manual rack.

i have used power steering but my car has a heavy v6 in front. As far as i can tell static on the drive it feels 'normal' like a hatchback without PS kinda feel.

It adds a bit of complication, but not mutch - if you have a light std locost its probably pointless.
