Stupid question

This may be a silly question but am I right in assuming that if I wind the spring platforms up it will lower the ride height?

Wont it raise the ride height?

As your making the distance between the wisbone and chassis bigger

It wont make the suspension harder as it shouldn't compress the spring just open up the shock

Winding them liiterally 'UP' as in upwards will raise the ride height.

It won't make the springs stiffer. Springs are linear across their working range. It will preload the springs a bit more. This means you'll have to put more weight on them before they start to compress but they will still compress at the same N/mm rate.
