Sierra Drive shafts?
Hi,
Im about to start cleaning/painting and fitting new CV boots to my drive shafts.
Before I start, do I need one of those cone thingys to fit the new boots, or when I start dismantling will I find a sirclip. Changed a few on
Audi's an Lancias and everything just slid apart when the sirclip is removed. Hoping this these are the same?

Depends on the shafts.
If it's the ones that bolt on with six bolts at each end (Lobro type), they're the easy ones with a circlip. If they're just the
push in type (trypoid??), they're a bit more technical and involve dismantling the cv joint and cutting off the "metal bean can".
If you have the trypoid ones, it easiest to try and get the cone thing and really stretchy rubber boots.

Its the ones that push in that I have. Suppose I need a cone thingy. How do I know which are strechy Boots? Will QH from a motor factor stretch
enough?
Thanks
