Sierra hub measurements - KPI, castor etc
Hi all
I have deviated from the standard book chassis in a few ways (sierra donor) which pushes me to check or possibly redesign the front wish bones a
little.
What I'm after are the various angles involved with the hub, KPI, Castor etc.
If any of the CAD guys have already created a CAD drawing of the hub then this would probably have all that I need to ensure the correct positioning
at the end of the wishbones.
Can anyone assist?
Many thanks
Danny

This is the only diagram I've ever seen:

If it helps - when you come to make your top wishbones you'll need to angle your transit drag link end to get enough movement in bump and
droop.
I went for about 10 degrees and mine turned out like this.
Hope that helps too!

Brilliant. Thanks Jambojeef
Perfect timing too!
I'll be talking your advise as I had heard about this issue. Wasn't too sure exactly how to do it but your photo... speaks 1000 words.
Much appreciated.
