Steering Rack End Stops

I need to put end stops tp prevent the wings contacting the chassis, whats the simplest way to do it, bearing in mind the car is almost finish, steering rack fitted and set up.

Strong Jubilee clips. Pull the gator back from the rack side, and fit them to the rack.

Mine are still on after more than 500 miles.

As Northy says use a jubilee clip or do as Marcos do/did remove the track rods (not ends) from the rack and fit a short piece of thickwall tubing behind the track rod lock nut, check clearance and then tack weld tubing to lock nut

If you dont want to remove the track rods, just take the same bit of thick wall tube, cut it in half and then tack the two halves on sperately. Im not a fan of recommending jubilee clips on the rack because as I can see it, if you picked slightly the wrong size/shape, there's nothing to stop the worm drive part jamming up inside the outer column and causing the steering to jam up on full lock
