A question

Hi guys.

Due to the size/location of my work area, the final assembly of my car will have to be done outside. Once out, I won't be able to get it back in.. Rather than going to the hassle of renting somewhere to keep it until I pass the SVA and get it registered etc, do you think I could get away with putting the plates from my other car on it, and parking it on the road outside my house?

surely it would be a lot safer under a car cover in your garden? As mac1zr says, you could get a bit of bother sticking the wrong plates on it. If you must leave it on the roadside, just leave it with no plates on it. I personally wouldnt dream of putting my locost outside overnight, it gets firmly blocked in by other cars every night.

Argos do a good cover for £25.

My mate put donor plates on to take one for MOT and the MOT station made him take them off. Apparently it is a gaolable offence according to them.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
