Is it better underneath or on top?
Handbrake cable that is!
As you are probably all fed up with hearing, I have a Capri back axle, The handbrake cable is a single cable which connects directly to the shoe
actuating lever one one side and to a link rod which connects to the other lshoe lever on the other.
My problem is that there does not seem to be any route for the cable to go above the axle where it will not foul the axle when it deflects (it does
have a rubber bit on it where it would hit the diff casing, but I cannot see mr SVA man liking it).
I have only just thought of passing it underneath (now I have finished working on the car for the day!)
Has anyone got any ideas?
The photo just shows the (rusty) link rod, and the (soon to be shortened) handbrake cable
Thanks
Mark
