Sierra Front Hubs
Hi all. Can anyone help with their vast experience?
If using front sierra hub uprights is it better to use:
- Top mushroom adaptor
- Weld ball joint plate to top of strut top and fit a joint to it
Also what bottom ball joint is suitable for lower wishbone fitting that fits in sierra strut?
Thanks J

I think the general consensus is that the sierra upright is not totaly suitable for welding to, so mushroom insert is an easier option

I can't see a problem witha mushroom insert. Why make life harder for yourself trying to weld steel to cast iron?

MK's mushroom has the hole offset which allows ajustment of castor etc

This point has been covered a good few times -- offset mushroom don't give way of adjusting caster. That is determined by the position of the
ball joints -- ie wishbones.
They do however allow the king oin inclination to be adjusted independant of camber adjustment.
