He probably values his license a bit more than your dad, or probably he didn't know it was a race. Two passengers eh, was it a three seater?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

You're forgetting we have a chancellor who has (unlike the rest of us) bottomless pockets and a penchant for extreme waste - hence the reason the national debt is higher now than it has been for donkeys years and will continue to get bigger while he spends, and unfortunately for the rest of us, getting nicked is a great way of topping up greedy brown coffers.

130 is instant ban, maybe gaol.

well as always it depends on the copper as a little while ago on the way back from a visit to family in london we came back through london and when we got out onto the a1m dad opened it up a bit (it was about 2 in the morning so not busy) and he came screaming up behind a police car saw it froma long way off so just started to ease off the speed a bit and just tucked in behind it and kept pace assuming that they were doing what the police do and sitting in the inside lane at 70 waiting for someone to overtake but then they slowed down quite a lot and he looked at the speedo and after ALOT of slowing down it was still on 75 so he started thinking o crap o crap and then they flashed the blue lights on top and he pulled over

policeman got out came round to the window and said look we know you were doing atleast 110 when you were following us and you did catch up with us at quite some speed but then you saw us and just kept pace so since you werent driving dangerously even if it was almost double the speed limit i couldnt really care less but next time youre pacing a police car make sure theyre actually doing 70 and started laughing top bloke lol
