coil over angle
Hi, all having fun with a IRS setup at the moment wondering if its ok to have the coil over angled towards the front?
If no good I can move back and use the same bolt as the hub carrier?
Thanks

coil over angle
It will be closer to the top wishbone then in the pic, I just wanted to show the angle of the coil over will be central from the bottom wishbone
up.
And if it makes little different to the set-up that makes tomorrows job list a little shorter (not really)

I did the same thing, but used spherical bearings on my dampers instead of bushes. I think, over time, your bushes will give way because of the
angle.

Spring Rates
The hot-rod guys used to make the top mounts adjustable as a simple means of altering spring rates.
The more upright the more direct the spring rate. Adding some incline to the spring reduces the effective rate of it so giving a softer ride.
Not sure how much difference your slight incline would make though!!
