extending rod ends

I don't want any ugly looking rod-ends.

Can anybody tell me if there are longer ones? Someone told me that the escort MK3 are longer and fit in the MK2 steering-rack is it tru or b*******t.

grtz

How much extra are you looking for?

I needed some about 20 mm longer and looked through the QH catalogue twice - took a couple of hours - going through every singe tre.

In sort, no, the problem is the mk2 trhead M12 x 2.0; most use fine thread, 1.5 pitch.

I had a list of a couple that had the same thread; one was volvo 850 - this is longer but it cranked so would look not so nice - I think it was RH both sides so would fit.

Thre was also some vauxhall van (damn, forgot the name - cubby/cabby?) this has same thread, looked like it was longer but it is obsolete so needed to be ordereed in specially and £ 30 a side, it was cheape to buy extensions.

Have a look at RD - they two 2 lengths as I believe MK do.

They don't look that bad, and to be honest, does that really meatter as long as they are safe?
