braided brake hoses - certification?
seem recall reading that the SVA man wants to see some sort of certification that braided hoses are suitable for road use - I'm considering
getting a set custm made by RD - just wondering what documentation I need to ask for to satisfy Mr SVA.

The only documentation I had to produce re brake hoses for the SVA ,was for the rubber hose I used from the reservoir to the master cylinders.
The stainless braided to the calipers are fine provided they are not chafing anywhere and are not kinked. Didnt have to produce any documentation for
those.
You could always give your local SVA man a bell. I did several times. They were only too willing to help.
Also different SVA centres seem to interpret certain rules differently to others, so if in doubt, have a chat with them.
Cheers,
Dave.

Only asked for proof of engine age earlier this week at SVA (Mitcham), no questions asked about brake or fuel hoses or anything else for that
matter.
