Wheel and tyre weight
Fitted a new set of 17"pro race 1's today,with 205 40 17 R888 tyres,before I fitted them I thought I would weigh one,and was suprised at
the result,16.5kg each,the 15" pro race 2's I removed had 195 55 15 AO32's fitted,75% worn,they weighed in at 16kg's,so
allowing for the worn out rubber on the 15" wheels they both come out at around the same weight, not what I expected.

Yes Rich,I do like the look of the 17" wheels, keep geting drawn back to them, these are my 3rd set of 17" in 2 years, and they are a bit old
school Tom,but now they have gone onto the pro race 1.2 these are now very difficult to get hold of.

well if ever you seriously damage one in the future, i ordered 5 when i got mine, so i have one spare.
it'd have to command a pretty penny though, given it's rarity
old school wasn't a bad thing, i'm putting my PR1's back on the new indy
tom
