Oil capacity

Anyone with a haynes manual handy know how many litres of oil for a cortina diff.
Typical, mines gone walkabout now that I need it.

Just done mine and the book in Halfrauds said 1.1L but i could only just get 1L in it before it was coming back out.

If you have a Salisbury diff, the oil capacity is 1 litre for the Type A (1600) axle and 1.1 litres for the Type B (2 litre axle).

Remember to check it after a run to top up after the axle tubes are coated/filledwith the sideways/gforces
