Wishbones at funny angles?
Do the front wishbones of a car have to be setup at 90 degrees to the direction of travel?
Or can they be setup like this: ?
(The angle is slightly exadurated!)

They are like that on some of the GT40 replicas.
You can just about see it in this photo if the link has worked.

I wouldn't recommend it on front wheels unless the mounts are parallel to the wheel otherwise you will get tow-in/out effects.
Some racecars have the rears set so that as they load up, they actually steer into corners.

you can get away with it better on stiffish springs.
