ummmm iv got a set of front upright off a seirra iv seen some adapters on ebay could i use these and are they sva legal iv got a book chassis or do i really need cortina uprights

Unless you have wishbones designed for the sierra it's recommended that you go for the cortina items, otherwise your geometry will be all wrong.

I have been looking at a few complete stes on ebay, seems you can get a complete set (may need of refurb) for about £60.

I thought they were dearer than that, mushroom adaptors and a taper ream out would come to at least that.

Have most people migrated to Sierra parts?

Sierra uprights with mushroom inserts are fine for SVA, but if you've got a book chasis and book wishbones then the geometry will be wrong with Sierra uprights - you really need Cortina ones.

If you have book dimension wishbones, you'll need cortina uprights I'm afraid .
