Maxi Balljoint / Escort trackrod Thread Type
Does anyone know what thread the maxi bottom balljoint and the non-metric escort track rod ball joint threads are?
I mashed the old nuts up removing the balljoints and need to get replacements.
Also if anyone knows a good place to buy these nuts either online or in the Herts area it would be handy.
Cheers

I guess thats why they say never sit in a couched position whilst using a breaker bar.

MK2 has M14 threaded ends and the MK1 is 1/2" UNF.

Thanks for that, I'm in Welwyn.
I'm sure my rack was out of a Mk2, but it's deff not metric, maybe there was a crossover or the rack had been swapped at some point.
lol @ catpuss, I did read it afterwards and think someone might comment

The only *real* way of telling is to use a thread gauge. I bought two brand new QH trackrod ends for the MK2 rack on my car, and one has a metric nut,
the other imperial...
Dont just build it.....make it!
