wishbone question ?

I have been mocking up my front suspension and have found that either the bones have been made for sierra uprights or the manufacture can not measure ( I suspect the second option ) Both top and bottom are wider than book but the top is not extended by the same amount as the bottom.

Can some one tell me how much shorter the top bone would be if using the sierra upright.

Looks like I will be making my own after all.

Cheers for any help

Can't you just mount the top wishbone lower than normal? Does it matter as long as the camber (or lack of) is ok, then just a matter of getting a suitable extension for the rack ties.

Just a thought

I am talking about a 30mm differance, the joints would not take it. And pulling the bones down will make the differance much bigger

I would sooner make my own. Main reason for asking is so I know -----To suite sierra or mismatched cortina.
