Brake components

Hi All

I decided this weekend to try to get the brakes in my car. I opened up the box of bits I had (which the previous owner/builder told me was everything) and I am missing 2 calliper carrier brackets and 6 guide bolts...

At the front there are 280mm ventilated disks (aparently cosworth) and at the rear 250mm solid disks. These are all new and the callipers I have are new-reconditioned ones (according to the Haynes Sierra manual I think the rears are Girling with handbrake and the fronts are Teves type.)

I have been to a local motor factors who can't help and to Ford who were about as helpful as a kick in the teeth... "there discontinued mate"

Can anyone suggest where I can these parts reconditioned if poss, otherwise new (as I am hoping for new plates on my car and I didn't want any old components to risk that....)

Thanks

Mark

Cheers guys.

I tried Brakes International and they appear to only do the callipers and disks (along with everyone else I have spoken to...)

I did however talk to a very helpful chap at Ford Parts UK (0800 096 4343) who went through loads of dirfferent cars on his system to try to help narrow down what bits I need but couldn't get specific enough and has asked me to get some more info and he will try again

Otherwise I think I ahve narrowed it down to "Sierra 2.0i/4x4/cosworth" disks and pads and as the callipers fit the disks fingers crossed (will check with Delphi again tomorrow if I can find the part numbers on the callipers and then back onto Ford...

And I thought fitting the brakes was going to be an easy bit!
