Sierra Steering Column
Got an adjustable column off Ebay and just wanted to check. There's a kinda ribbed, steel bit on it which I think/thought should be, well its
kinda compressed. I've seen some pictures on search of non adjustables and they seem to have a plastic 'stretched' bit. Is mine
knackered or summat. Don't seem it but just wanna check. Oh, lower parts with the u.j.'s? Just get them from a scrappie, are they standard
fit?
Cheers

No it's fine.
The adjustable ones stretch on impact not compress, the bellows is behind the bracket on them and in front on the non adjustable ones. It's
metal on both, not plastic.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
