They are Cortina uprights. You have the Cortina M16 Calipers on there at the moment.

I will have to sort that out like, I will be stripping the car, re-painting and raplacing some parts, like the wilwoods, perhaps alli hubs etc, i wll be trying to lose as much weight as poss because it currently weigh's 749kg!!!

Any tips of what to lose, the roll bar looks a bit OTT like, seats are comming out to be replaced with GRP, engine will be removed and replaced with a k series, rear spare wheel and mount to be removed, new dash, surround etc. The windscreen looks heavy but also looks good. Front Rad looks fooked, that's my plans so far.

Oh n some new tyres, it's on remoulds!!! Yikes

Wow, 750kg seems a bit high even with a boat anchor under the bonnet! The floor hasn't been paneled with 1/4" plate has it?

If they are Colway remoulds you should be o.k. as lots of racers use them. Is 749kgs the SVA design weight, it seems a lot for a Locost?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I cant believe that comes in at 749 KG!!

The exhaust comes out on the passenger side so I asume it has a crossflow rather than a Pinto. Those wing stays look beefy but even still. 749? Has it been built in 3 mill box section or something?
