My suspension data. Comments?

Hello All,

Getting ready to fab up my suspension.

Have been modelling it in Susprog3d.

Have managed the Following...

Front:
Roll Center 33mm
RC Lateral Migration >81mm

Camber Gain .54 deg/inch

Rear:
Roll Center 66mm
RC Lateral Migration >40mm

Camber Gain .55 deg/inch

Decent Start?

Regards,

Brian

Looks good to me

Mine:

RC 45 mm front
RC 90 mm rear
Camber gain front around 0.30 front
Rear not calculated due all the different incl bad design i have seen. Then i became aware most of the building incl. the "fabricant" builds are different and are not following all the principals!

Try to get:
Zero bumpsteer
enough caster at front 5.5-8 degr
RC around 5 front rear around 9 cm
The right ET-value which belongs to the upright your using in front.

And everything will be fine...

Unless you're a formula 1 driver and push the car everyday to the limit.

grtz Theo

Thanks for your Reply.

Data based on 5 degrees caster.

Have Bump steer down to about 0.1 degrees at the limits of travel

Regards,

Brian
