deanfield or irs - anyone heard of?

hi,

as the title states has anyone heard of these companys? heard of them in a past article in practical performance car!

I have a deanfield, think they were based in scotland, but long gone now.

think they did a T1 (live axle) and a T2 (irs)

triton on here used to be something to do with them i think

cheers for the quick replys. so deanfield is no more? thats a pity as they sounded pretty good and quite good value from the limited post i read. hope the guy is ok!

? over irs. i have so far found nothing on this...

any opinions on ace sportscars then? anybody got one? they seem really cheap (the article i read claims you can build one for around £2k but that was then they were ara racing...). are they any better than the previous ara racing?

Deanfield.

I've got one. The last one that was built. Good car.
I bought it in bits as Graeme Young was going out of business due wife problems.It took about 4 months to complete and SVA.
He has since moved away but his man who built the chassis is still living locally.
Mine will be back on the road shortly with it's new Zetec engine and fireblade carbs.
