wheels

some time ago i got this wheel guide and i dont know how to look for wheels that would suit the running gear i have.

my doubts are on the wheel sizes. is it true that the sierra, cortina, focus, fiesta all shared the same kind of wheel? according to the pic they do. so shouldnt it matter whether i have cortina uprights at the front and sierra running gear at the back?

thanks! Rescued attachment 4wheels.jpg

Ford use the same PCD for their 4-stud wheels, but 2 different offsets, RWD and FWD.

The RWD wheels sit 24mm further out (giving 48mm wider track, both sides) than the FWD wheels.

Just to confuse matters, Sierras used FWD offset and not RWD.

escort live axle need 6" wide ET19 or less at the back, otherwise the wheels hit the trailing arms.

Ford offsets I have encountered vary between ET5 on a 3.0 capri to ET 52 on a four stud scorpio and just about every size in between, there may be more offsets available, but I haven't seen them
