sierra rear end diff cradle
hi can anyone tell me if its possible to use the whole rear diff and cradle thing of a sierra and convert the chassis to fit it because i think it
will save a lot of messing about and save on making parts thanks adam

I think RobinHood did this, not sure though, but i would say it is more liable to cause messing about than save you from it

iam not thinking about useing the susenpsion just the cradle bit because its only a few bolts that holds it on the sierra

All you need is a bit of 1/4 steel plate, easy to make.

ditto the above, i did it and regretted it. Its a daft amount of weight and you still have a lot of fabricating to make it fit. Its much easier to put
proper diff mounts on.

yes i see what you mean it will look nice when finished aswell the guy at the scrap yards taking it off for me so ive just got to pick it up just
thought it might be quicker just to use it to save time but if its gonna handle like crap because of the extra weight its not worth it lol thanks
iam still learning lol
