7" ACB's on 6" Compomotives
As the title say's... am I looking at problems?
The fit looks OK, but I appreciate all that may change once the wheels start turning.

Will work, but not ideal. Wheel will be less stable on a narrower rim, more sidewall movement.
Ned.
ps what's the metric size of a 7" tyre? 185 or 195?

If it's a 185 tyre then no, it's not ok, avon state the max rim width as 5.5-6.5"
195 or 205 will be fine on a 7" wheel though

Am i getting confused?
A 7" tyre is a 185.....yes ????
That means a 185 tyre on a 6" rim.
What is wrong with that?
i have 14 x 6jj and have 185x60x14 tyres.
Am i confusing myself

This is where it does indeed get quite confusing!
ACB10's width is stated by the rim size... in this case 7".
The 'outer width' of a 7" ACB10 is actually a 215 in conventional sizes.
But... on checking the Avon website, they recommend fitting the 7" rubber to a 5.5-7.5" rim, so basically, there should be no problem with
fitting them to my 6" rims.
Confused... ? So am I!

According to the numbers I have, a 7/22-13 ACB10 is approximately 205/55 - 13.
I ran a pair of these (ex FF1600 tyres) on the rear of my Locost R1 with 6" rims and they were abslutely fine.
