Control Cables

Inspired by Mark A's pedal box post I.ve been looking at my cables.

Both clutch and throttle cables are way too tight onto my x/f from the ST pedal box.

Seems that using standard Escort cables is no good.

I figured I'd need a different throttle cable for the sidedraughts. But as for a longer clutch cable it never occured to me.

Has anyone got any sugestions as to which cables will work?

Universal throttle cable? but which clutch cable? (escort 1600 4 spd g/box)

Cheers

Dave

Thanks guys,

Good info to work wit.

I take it the Cortina clutch cable is the same connections as the escort?

Sideways, we might have the clutch cable going spare off our Cortina that we're breaking. probably going to be using a hydraulic clutch.

Might take us a couple of weeks though, and maybe you'd rather use a new one, but.. well.
