Brake disks

Im just about to order a new pair of Sierra front Calipers and need 2 new disks aswell. Where is the best place to buy new Disks?

Is it worth while buying Grooved/drilled? Would these be wasted? or purely for aesthetics? Anybody got any web addresses for me to look at?

Cheers

James

Hi james,

I got mine from www.raldes.co.uk (rally design. about £20 each

Europa spares, demon tweeked and many many more places sell them, got to ur local newsagents and have a look in some of the kit car or ford car mags for adverts.

Grooved and cross drilled do look the muts knuts but unless you are seriously thrashing your car on the road or the track it is not money well spent. I have standard diameter vented ones with cortina callipers and they are more than ample for my 2.0L pinto you would be better putting your money towards something lightweight ie alloy sump, or lighter calipers or something of that nature. IMO of course!

Cheers
Colin
