Mine looked a bit like that when I started.
Feb 05
this it now
if I can get a good run this week then I might be posting to youtube a video of the first firing of the engine shortly (about a week but no
promises)
Yours is looking good. Keep it going.
Enjoy.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Yep stuff always costs more than you think! The bits n bob aren't so bad but make sure you put some aside for the sundries and miscellaneous.

my start will be the Sierra DOHC.
Yes I know what you're thinking.
But I think it is a nice one and around here you will need catalist due emissions at MOT.
Maybe as the car is ready there will be a 6 in line lump from a lexus Is 200 or 300
Thar would be good looking

Mine is not bigger than the avon
If ment the pictures off jollygreengiant
then you're right. Probably made for RV8?
It looks if there's enough space for another engine. weight distribution is better, So I wouldn't bother.

Why not zetec? Maybe zetec would be easyer to tune, and I also use a catalist, I used mondeo (1995) ecu. The emission are very well and engine seem
to run well.
With sierra dohc maybe you have some problem with intake manifold or do you make a new manifold? What kind of ecu are you going to use?
Thanks Rudy

First I want to stay locost (if possible)
the Sierra cost me 50 Euro and 2 spare engine came with it.
The Ecu will be the original Ford. the Inlet will be modified (turned 180 degr)
then it will fit under the bonnet.
Sump is already shortened.
Grtz Theo
