Small chassis - capri axle?

hello all, I have the smaller chassis. Now Ron reckons i should use an escort axle, but i have caterham rear arches (wider), so an escort axle will leave the wheel 2" odd inside the arches, so how much wider is the capri axle? front diff, english is the plan, if its about fourinches wider or less it seems that it maybe my kiddy. Theres a lot of talk about extra weight of the capri axle, but its not enough to bother me.
I just don't wanna use spacers:0

any news?

Take a look in the for sale section, just posted a couple of pictures of my capri axle in place.

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

A cortina axle is the other wider live axle alternative, jasper has a spare 4.1:1 if he hasn't got rid of it yet, don't know where you are in relation to him though....

Ned.

I'm not sure jasper has a spare cortina axle.. I think he was going to get one out of the cortina that we ended up buying.

so.. we have a spare cortina axle
