Yes, loads of people. They are Ford Capri peper pots.

How can you tell they aren't from an XR2?

I could be wrong but i think the capri ones are 7" wide and the XR2 are 6".

XR2's, I'm pretty sure, are 5.5". I've got a spare set in the garage so I'll check in an hour or so, as I've got to pop down there anyway.

This particular set of wheels that i found in the local ads are 13" 6J.
Would 205 wide tires look OK on them?

The offset is the important measurement, the XR2 is FWD and will probably have an offset of ET32 or so which may require spacers if used on a Locost. The Capri wheels should have pretty much the correct offset.

Wonder what they are from? The Capri pepperpots are 7" and the XR2 were 5.5" as ChrisW says.

205's should be ok on a 6" rim, though they are rather wide for a locost IMO.

I was thinking using 205 at the rear and 185 front.

I was convinced that was the case, but on checking my spare set of 'pots (from a mk2 XR2) they were 13x6J. So I guess I was wrong.... it does happen every now and again!

Sorry anyone who I mislead!

Hmm, perhaps they made more than one width for the XR2? I thought they were 5.5" from when my brother had one, and a quick search of the web seems to confirm they were 5.5" as well.

Looks like the OP has XR2 wheels anyway, so offset may well be a problem.

I was suprised too, but the ones I have are 100% XR2, and are 6J. If I had a digi camera that worked ( ) I'd take a photo...
