Concerned about Davies craig pumps...
Hi Guys
I have read a fair bit of stuff about Davies Craig water pumps failing but with not knowing of anything else that would do the job I bought one. Its
now turned up and I can see its motor is the exact same one as fitted in caravan roof fans and I have a stack of failed ones at work so I know for a
fact the motors do fail !
But what else can I use in a busa instalation? I have heard talk of the bosch one but I cant get a price or part number anywhere or even find out if
they are any good.
Thanks
Jason

Pumps or Fans.
I used a slimline one from ebay on my road car for about 3 years with no problems.Had it on all the time due to the intercooler been to thick the
cooling was suffering

Thanks for that. I think I might just have to go for one of them and with the weak Dollar the price difference wont be that much.

There were some concerns about reliability of the earlier versions of the Davies Craig pumps but the latest version uses ceramic bearings and are much
better.
I have fitted one and 15k miles later it is still doing an axcellent job.
Cheers,
