Rear Sierra/Granada Disk Brakes
Hi all
I thought i would just post a quick message to all of you who are contemplating refurbishing your Sierra/Granada rear disk callipers. The Haynes
manual says that to remove the handbrake actuator and its associated components you will need a special Ford spring compression tool.
I managed to remove all the handbrake components and clean the mud out and reassemble in about 1/2 hour. I used no special tools but i did have a
cylinder head valve spring compressor and some small jewellers screwdrivers for the removal of the circlips.
Job done with little effort.
Cheers

Those guys also stock the fabled o-rings for M16 calipers. We ordered recon kits for front and rear (M16 and Sierra), new disks and 4x bleed nipples
from them too, good service and the people on the other end of the phone seem to know what they are talking about.
