Bike brake calipers/discs

Without looking at the how's and the why's, has anybody looked into the use of calipers and disc's from any of the large sports bikes to see if used on all four corners would they be upto the job on a locost.Major headache would seem to be the handbrake, could this be a seperate caliper/disc operating on the prop shaft as used on land/rangerovers?

they are used regular on the front end of single seat auto grass cars, don't know that i would like to use them to retard a 100mph+ locost on (relatively speaking) grippy tarmac as aposed to wet sludge n grass. It can be done though, nothing is impossible.
