made a template for my pedals
made a template for my pedals, have now cut a bit of 3mm plate to weld in, soon be able to bolt the brake and clutch pedals in.
I'll be attempting to make my own accelerator pedal.

sorry it's not obvious!
I jacked up the plywood under the chassis and screwed the pedals into position. After several attempts i was happy with the positions.
I then drew round the whole thing in pencil and traced it off the plywood.

accelerator pedal detail
Please see attached word document showing my proposed accelerator pedal.
Not sure what ratio you should have for 'A' or 'B' marked on drawing.

duct tape steering column.
Please note that i will be strengthening the duct tape connections to the steering column.
I've only just extended the steering column with a sleeve, most things are currently held in place with ties/duct tape!

What would be wrong with a plywod floor? As long as it was WBP and suitably sealed then plywood (preferably Birch plywood) has a very good strength to
weight ratio. 12mm ply would be about the same weight as 3mm aluminum.
