Sierra Caliper Carriers

Hi everyone,

I have recently bought some Sierra Cailpers that run solid discs, however as they are new did not come with carriers and Ive had a look round all the scrappies and cannot find any solid disc cars, are the vented carriers the same?

Cheers Mark

no, the carriers are not the same. the vented disc ones are designed to take a 24mm thick disc.

ebay is your friend.

I may be able to help you with this.

I ahd some old solid clipers that were siezed so as I was a member of a Sierra owners forum acquired some replacements.

to my delight they came complete with carriers and i think I still have the old one one of which has been painted blue hammerite smooth.

I will have a rummage in the garage tonight and let you know. They are off a 92 K Ghia Estate and Im sure they were solid discs
