how to get hub out of the hub carrier
whats the best way to get my hub out of the hub carrier on the rear axle. Its a BMW 3 series hub. My haynes manual says to use a slide hammer. But
unfortunatly i dont have one. is there another way of getting it out? Or do i need to get myself a slide hammer?

yo should be able to use a hammer giving blows to the hub providing its not alloy make sure you turn the hub as you don want to keep striking the same
area you may need to use a large drift or piece of barif you cannot strike directly with a hammer .
