Centre-Lock Wheels Hubs
What's the 'norm' for converting from 5 stud wheels to centre-locks?
Is it a case of having bespoke huns made to suit, or is there a 'halfway-house' technique where I can utilise my old hubs?
I was thinking about getting my local machine shop to fabricate a mating plate that bolts to the 5 stud hub. Would have a threaded spindle and a
'peg-drive' pattern to suit the centre lock wheels? Sound reasonable, or am I dicing with stupidity?

There is a company doing an XK Jag replica that does them as a kit - ISTR about £400 a corner , and very heavy - they came with a bolt-on adapter to
use with their replica steel wheels .

Eeeek... me no like!
What about the general premise of my suggestion... a hub-on-a-hub design?
Appreciate there's a weight implication, but also have to consider the cost!

Their set-up was a hub on a hub - a steel `hub` with a splined/threaded centre , bolted straight onto the original hub , then an adapter with a
splined center hole that bolted onto the wheel .
So , yes , your general premise is workable........but heavy
