When I was living in OK i came round the corner and nearly ploughed into 8 of the buggers! Got a photo of them too somewhere.

Nice blog Dick, a well written romantic story... wish we could do things like that here in the Uk without getting wet and/or frostbite!

02G... No, it's 18,000 and I'm enjoying almost every mile of it each day it's not raining or now when it's just too cold.

Steve, I'm glad you liked the piece and like you I can't wait for warmer weather.

I'm currently planning a coast to coast and back trip with some unique twists. More on that a bit later.
