Im currently looking at designing my own monocoque using all the suspension geometry from a locost so i could possibly buy all the running gear and
swap over.
I had completely forgot that westfield had produced a carbon monocoque several years ago, but I cant find any pics or technical data on it, even with
my google search skills.
Just wondering if anyone has any pics of the monocoque chassis? as Ive only manged to find a couple of images but of complete cars with the bonnet
off.
Any help greatly appreciated.
its going to be hard to get much info on them - according to this they made 'no for than 10 cars'

From what ive read a few years ago now, 6 were made, 2 in japan, 1 destroyed in testing (allegedly) and the other 3 in the UK.
Google image search gives you some data but unless you can find a friendly owner wishing to strip theirs, I doubt you'll find much more.
yeah im only looking for a couple of pictures just to see if they made the chassis in one piece or bonded the front bulkhead/window in later. Im not expecting to find any detailed tech info but just interested in how it was done as I can go in the same direction with my design.
There was a thread on Pistonheads a while ago where an owner was selling his and gave quite a lot of info. It was in the kit car section. It may have
been sam_68 or certainly sam and a number :-)
