If i use fiesta front callipers on my Escort MK2 rear axle for a disc conversion, how would i go about modifying them to accept a handbrake?

many thanks

AFAIK you cant................just fit handbrake calipers .
Front calipers are just that - front calipers .

As above.

Unless you fit a third "spot" caliper specifically for handbrake, could even mount it inboard maybe, if you fancied a challenge?

rally design seel willwood spot calipers. they should be ok for mounting to the existing discs, with the addition of a new bracket to mount them with

if its only for a class requirement you can easily set up a hydraulic hand brake, but for registration i think you will need a mechanical one, if so its change calipers for a rear set i'm afraid.

They are far too big for use as rear calipers anyway --- take a look at the rear calipers and brackets fitted to the Rover 600 these might be easily adapted to your brackets..
