when i brought my 4 point harness the guy on the stand told me something about the top hat bushes that let the belt swivel, he said to put them on one way for the sva and then to turn them upside down after?? any body heard of that

Why would you want them on the other way round though?

I can only imagine as i found, that when the bolt is tightened the size of the head of the bolt does not seem that much bigger than the hole it has gone through in the harness end bracket. maybe by putting the top hat above the end bracket, with the thicker piece up host so it still swivels, he would be a bit more assured that the bracket cannot get pulled over the top hat and bolt head ?
