Baby cub seat question.
big_wasa - 4/1/09 at 09:27 PM

Any one got them ?

I was going to use squabs but it looks like iva will mean head rests.

question: does the lower seat pad remove from the baby cub seat ?

I would need to make a lower sva one.

They look good value ?

cheers

I have them
It looks like You cant easily remove the bottom without butchering the seat.

Im sure iv seen somewhere a head rest kit sort of thing for them?

Ive got a pair from midland wheels (link)

I find them very comfortable and good value. The seat pad on mine are only attached at the front and near enough fall out if tipped upside down so should be fairly easy to make a smaller seat pad for it with minimal butchering.

I have the early model, me and the mrs have a combined weight of over 35 stone, and 100 years between us, 4 seasons use and as still as good as the day first fitted. Bloody good seats , even if not in the 'fast and the furious' style, but good value and hard wearing.

i have them in mine from midland wheels too. Just pulled base out and put in home made covered pad for sva and passed no prob. love em too, often asked for a sit in them by other 7 drivers and all seem impressed.

cannot fault them.

Cheers guys.

The ones with the blue piping are on special offer at the min. Down from £75 to £50. £100 for a new pair of seats cant be bad so ive bought a pair.
