lower harness mounts again

if i was to get these seats, with the side mounts, would it be acceptable to drill the side of the mount to bolt the belt to?

the reason i ask, is because cobra also do subframes for seats to fit in cars, and they have a stud on the side to bolt a seatbelt to. you can just about see it here


if its good enough for that...

IIRC you can as long as the SVA man is satisfied that the seat/frame/floor and everything else in the chain holding your seat belts is capable of withstanding the forces that would be applied in the event of an accident.

cool, should be ok then. the side mounts are mate from 5mm steel apparently. perhaps a welded nut if it makes it any stronger.
and plenty of holes along the bottom of them for bolting, so maybe use 3 cap head bolts (12.9 grade) for each side, should be fine i'd say
