having tried to save money by adapting some old bucket seats to fit i now have a problem. I need to put holes in the seat sides to allow the lap belt to pass through and i am wondering where i can buy some sort of liner for the holes.
I have seen holes lined with plastic on other bucket seats.

plastic u trim? try CBS or depending on the size and shape of the holes self gripping pvc trimming might be better from woolies (not woolworths...they closed down )

EDIT - Just thought on...how deep are these seats? I guess they aren't just grp buckets?

I looked into this with a pair of intrim odyssey seats. the inserts are available, about £ 40 a pair but was advice it would compromise the strength. in the end I did not bother.

the intatrim slotted seats are wider in that area presumably stronger too.

Far better to slightly compromise the strength (of what i presume is a fibreglass bucket seat??) than to compromise the strength of your harnesses by allowing them to chaff on the raw edges. As above, rubber u-trim properly stuck down will protect your harnesses

Back in the days when I was daft enough to own a caravan, I remember buying some 'U'-shaped trim to go around the window openings when I did a refurb on mine. Not sure whether it was only available in white (which is what I used) but it was around 1 1/2" wide with a lip of around 1/4" -1/2".
