I am not sure what thread to put this in so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I am here to bring to your attention a lightweight heater unit i have designed and currently sell for small kit cars, initially it was built for lotus 7 type cars but it has been used in many variety's of cars includnig cobra's, 911 specials 32 fords and even as large a vehicle as a bowler wildcat!

These units are very good for their size, and i might even go as far as saying you cant find anything smaller, cheaper, or more powerful for its size.

I am also looking to find a dealer for the USA whilst the conversion rate is good for you guys and also a european distributor.

Looks pretty good... Perfect timing as I've just invested in a heater solution for my TVR. Oh well.

Just to let you know there is a trader system on this site and in order to advertise commercial products you'd need to sign up to it and pay the monthly fee (apparently!)

Shame I've just invested in a £30 oil cooler, £10 of epoxy GRP and a £40 fan....

Oh well...

Just for comparison any one know what the VW heater I have in my Fury might weigh (without me ripping it out just to weigh it!)

I guess if its already in place and working that its not a very cost effective weight saving measure.

Looks a lot faster though and probably heats better but TBH if its cold not having a roof at the moment and driving at speed most of the heat gets sucked right out anyway!

Hi, yes the air enters at the rear end of the heater and is pulled through by the fan thats situated inside the plenum chamber, this fan is rated to 190CFM and is the most powerful for its size on the market.
I will post more pictures after work.

Hi,

Here is an image showing the rear of the unit, I have taken apart my main PC and this is the only picture I have at the mow! As shown in the image there isnt actually a gap between the rad and plenum chamber, dunno y it shows tho!

Dash Vent:

The angled bracket is removeable and allows the user to mount the outlet underneath the dash or anywhere they require heat.
